Hello!   I will start with the basics.  As you can tell by my name and picture I am a female. 

That's not me in the picture by the way, although If you stare at it long enough there could be a slight resemblance.  Well...uh...not really.  At the time of this writing I am 51 years old. 

I became interested in social anxiety and Avoidant Personality Disorder when I began doing research on shyness.  It opened up a whole new world for me.

This is my first attempt at writing articles so please be patient (although if you think about it, you really don't have to). 

I am currently building a website.  I will post the link although I am still working on it.  It is for me to share my experiences and encourage and help one another.  If you cannot relate to it on a personal level, please forward it to someone you think it may help.

I also may a litte 50 second video cartoon on Youtube called, "I Have Avoidant Personality Disorder."  It is nothing serious...I was merely experimenting with an animation site.
